More Tips for the Adventurer in You!

Hey there, Everypony. Sandy Rivers here, professional map-maker and owner of Rivers Cartography, to tell you what you need to know to survive in that crazy, mixed-up world we live in!

We're well into the winter months now and I'm sure you've made sure to stay warm and cozy for the season. After all, you wouldn't want to be out there during this time of year. Snow cover can turn an easy walk into a treacherous hike, make a clear path impassable and transform a lake into a deadly trap! Uncharted territory is the last place you want to be when there's snow and ice. Of course, I'm sure all you smart adventurers know that already and have hunkered down until the spring thaw but lets face it, staying cooped up is the last place a wandering pony like yourself wants to be so here's a few hints and tips to stave off cabin fever!

Rivers Cartography

After little more than a week, the tarps come down on the new construction site in the Library area. Just as fast as the site was erected, it was cleaned and cleared leaving behind a new two-story building. It's unclear exactly what the building is for. It's either a small business or a big home. Walking up to the door, there's a small sign hung beside it reading: 'Rivers Cartography.'

A New Equestrian Map

"This?" Sandy said, scrunching her nose and looking at the old, out-dated parchment that was the Equestrian Map that hung in the Mayor's Office. "They can't be serious, can they? This old thing's completely out-dated, out of proportion and basic beyond belief. I can't believe anypony would qualify this thing as a passable map! Hang on... I'm fairly certain I have something around here somewhere..."

Helpful Hints for Explorers At-Large

Hey there, Everypony! Sandy Rivers here once again to tell you what you need to know to survive in the crazy world we call Equestria. Now, I know I'm usually the first pony to say that everything you'll ever need, you can find out in the wild but there's something out there that even the most experienced traveler needs from time to time.

A Friendly Warning on Hydras

Hey Everypony, Sandy Rivers here to tell you what you need to know to survive in this crazy world! Now, I'm usually a pony that prefers to be as prepared as possible for any contingency but sometimes you make mistakes and they say that experience is the best teacher. Well, some lessons experience teaches with a little slap on the wrist where other messages it likes to beat you with over the head until you can't remember where it was you started. That being said, I offer a disclosure to you all: never do what I did.

A Few On-The-Road Hints

Hey everypony, Sandy Rivers here! Now, you don't need me to tell you that living on the road can be scary. There's a lot of things you need to know to get by but luckily you have me to give you the survival tips you need to survive!

Sandy Rivers: Cartographer in action!

Hello everyone! I'm Sandy Rivers, one of the finest explorers and map makers in Equestria! I've been everywhere from Appleloosa to the Everfree forest on the hunt to find new and exciting things but I can tell you that I haven't seen one tenth of all the things out there. It's a big ol' world and I want to see it all! However, that doesn't mean that I don't take time to rest at home between journeys. Sometimes after a long trip you just want to curl up with a nice book or go out for some oats with your friends. Someponies like to say, 'work hard, play hard' but not me. I like it nice and easy.
