Mountain and Molehill are a dubious pair of thieves. They are an odd duo, seeming to dislike each other and yet are never seen without one another.
They live and work out of a wagon pulled by Mountain. It contains various odd items that they have acquired throughout their travels in Ponyville. They actually have stolen all these goods and resell them to other ponies to keep themselves afloat.
Mountain is the larger pony. Is is quite large and muscular for a pony, looming above average ponies. He is talented with his strength and bulk, using his Herculean strength to pull the wagon that carries all of the valuables that they steal. He is also a mute, saying only one or two words a day-and that's if he's in a good mood. Usually he responds with angry, almost beast-like snorts.
Molehill is the smaller pony. He is frail, weak, and small-even at his adult age he seems much smaller than the average pony. He seems to be the brains of the duo. Well, I'm not sure if you can call it brains. He is the talker of the two. He is barely ever seen doing something himself-He even uses Mountain as a source of transportation. He smacks Mountain and shouts angry commands at him all the time. He has quite the tongue on him, giving mean, snide responses to ponies.
They have come to Ponyville in search of 6 extremely rare and valuable objects. They each belong to a specific guardian, and are color-coded. One purple, one blue, one orange, one yellow, one white, and one pink. Molehill immediately jumped on the idea of finding super rare items to sell to make them richer than their wildest dreams.
