After reading about the film's history, I'm almost brought to tears. After close to thirty years working on the project, the film was taken away from it's creator Richard Williams and cheapened for fast release, then cut to pieces for re-release. Later, by piecing together different cuts of the film in accordance with the original storyboarding and even re-animating cheaply-made scenes, the film became the closest approximation to the original vision as possible by adoring animators. Few films can garner that level of love and adoration from the fans and I certainly hope that creator Richard Williams is proud to see his masterpiece viewed in the way it was meant to be. I can't wait to DL it and watch it!

The recobbled cut is released free via torrent, and it's considered legit enough since it's a non-profit project and in it's format isn't under copyright claim.
