A brief sketch I did of some Manehattan buildings. Used the Cutie Mark Chronicles Episode as a brief reference so I had something to start on / work with.
Edit: Took another picture and messed with contrast/color settings. Is much less painful on the eyes now.

My own notes
General: Sorry about your eyes. I really need to hook up my scanner and stuff. I should also probably use a ruler / guide lines. They're straight 'enough', but the first building I made ( I went 3 - 1 - 2 in order of drawing) looks like it's going to topple over on closer inspection.
Middle (1): I basically stole this one straight from the ep. Not everything is there, but I needed some practice first, and something to work with. A few details are missing, but without the color I felt like it would just be clutter. Namely the drapes in the windows. Also no shading. ALSO doing those 'random' bricks is really hard. I think they turned out okay though.
Right (2): Probably my favorite of the three. This and the last I simply took a quick glance at the architecture and went with it. I like the hinges on the door,even if it felt odd putting them on the other side. Is that an actual thing? Not a clue. My knowledge of actual building design isn't all that great, but doing so would open a lot for archway and sill designs. I wanted to keep it simple seeing as it's not supposed to be expensive. The only thing I didn't like was the roof. Too cluttered, needed a row less of shingles.
Left (3): I really like the way this one turned out too. I tried something risky with the billboard thing on the left. I didn't feel like making that circle in the center in to the pizza it's supposed to be. Simple, no clutter for now. Even with that, it still feels kind of busy. The structural supports on the bottom, even though I like how they turned out, are a little much. Probably could have just used more bricks like in 2. Also that door window needs some work. I must have redrawn it 50 times (Probably four, but whatever). I was also skeptical about the flat roof at first when drawing it, but I think it looks pretty good! \o/

Anyway, this is Soda packs. She plays Starcraft 2 and Team Fortress 2. She likes using the marine's Stimpack ability in Starcraft 2, and she likes using Bonk: Atomic Punch in Team Fortress 2. Her cutie mark is the SC2 stimpack, and she loves Soda, bonk in particular.
