[Masterweaver]

"...you know, I think apologizing is important, but you're babbling." Masterweaver compacted the cloud, sculpting it a bit. "Babbling is inefficient. What I have said i will do is what will happen." He grabbed a sandwich and placed it in front of Scraggly, not even averting his eyes from the cloud which was starting to look vaguely ponyshaped.

The dark flanked unicorn, meanwhile, took note of the stage in the corner. Grinning malevolently, she clopped over to it without even glancing at anypony else. "This will be most amusing. Most amusing indeed." And if anypony looked, they would have seen how the dark flanks hosted an even darker cutie mark... a grinning, vicious dog of some sort.

Marbles, having eaten all the pretzels, suddenly realized that this would be a perfect place... FOR SCIENCE! Specifically crowd psychology. He got up on a table and clacked his hooves for attention. "PEOPLE OF PONYVILLE! Or is it ponies of ponyville...? UNIMPORTANT! MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE?"

[Diamond Charm]

Diamond rolls her eyes at Masterweaver's statement, still scorned by his decision to ignore her, and continues talking to Scraggly, "Your friend makes a valuable point. Don't be afraid to go with the flow, darling. I'm going to go enjoy the party, and if no one else has invited you to do so, be MY guest. I do have trouble imagining that somepony so demure as yourself could cause TOO much trouble? Just remember, dear, that I am responsible for what you do now, and it would SO ease my conscience if you would lighten up? I would hate for your seriousness to ruin this... interesting party, for yourself or those around you. Just ask after Charm if there's anything else I can do for you."

Pride wells in Diamond's chest as she gracefully trots off to meet the other guests. 'Oh, I truly am a great asset to any occasion.'

Clenching her teeth and pulling her ears down, Diamond turns to the table where the weird science pony now stands.

[TheDashingBrony]

"U-Um...Okay...Thank you..." Scraggly mumbled, giving a fancy bow of extreme respect and loyalty. "I'll try not to embarrass you..." He slowly trotted up to one of the snacks, a large cake with lots of frosting. He slowly cut a piece off with a knife, set it onto a plate, and carried it away. He left a large trail of dirt in his wake though, causing many random ponies to cough and sneeze. "I-I'm sorry..." He muttered before taking a bite off the piece of cake he got.

[Sleepy Mix]

Sleepy quickly swallowed the punch in his mouth almost making him cough"Actually... I own a milkshake bar here in Ponyville. I moved in 2 days ago so I haven't opened up yet. Maybe you could play at my bar during my grand opening, it would be a great way for me to attract customers and for you to spread your name here in Ponyville, maybe even ask Pinkie Pie to organize a party for the grand opening, ooh maybe Tek might want to perform aswell and we could invite everypony here at the party and maybe some friends from Canterlot, though I don't have that many friends or maybe I could..."

Sleepy abruptly stopped talking, it wasn't to catch a breath though, his eyes were shut closed and instead of enthousiastic words came only quiet snoring. His magic hold on the cake and punch disappeared causing his punch and cake to fall to the ground staining the floor around him for the second time.

[Mr. Improv]

Smoky laughed as Sleepy Mix hit the floor, halting his fall so the unconscious unicorn didn't hurt himself. He grabbed some napkins around the table and cleaned up around the sleeping unicorn. "Either he's had too much punch, or that's why they call him Sleepy Mix," he said to Skyblaze.

He produced a business card with his contact information on it, and slipped it behind Sleepy's ear.

"Think we should move him out of harm's way while he's snoozin'?"

After he asked the question, his attention turned to a stallion standing on top of a table shouting about science. He shrugged, and figured some ponies partied harder than others, but kept looking anyway.

[Masterweaver]

"THANK YOU! This has been an experiment to see how many of you would turn to look at any random event. Having done my calculations, I wish to thank you all for participating. Also: DO NOT EAT THE PIE. That is all." Marbles stepped down from the table.

The dark unicorn whose name I have just now randomly decided is Swirly Mists is mildly annoyed at this turn of events...

Meanwhile, Masterweaver finishes his work and moves it gently in front of Diamond. "Um... cloud sculptures don't last long near the ground..." It is an almost perfect replica of the unicorn herself.

Scraggly looked at mist sculpture, and saw it was almost a perfect replica. "Th-That's amazing..." He muttered to Masterweaver. He stepped back in amazement-and into another pony. Frightened- the scraggly pegasus flapped his uninjured wing. The dust and wind that blew up sadly messed up masterweaver's hard work. "O-Oh no! I'm so sorry!"

[Diamond Charm]

Rolling her eyes at Marble's antics, Diamond proceeds to move to the food table and begins cutting a piece of pie for herself, just to spite the science pony.

As Masterweaver catches her attention, she sets her plate down to admire the work, "It's beautiful... You're quite the crafty one yourself, aren't you?"

Moving a little closer to the sculpture, she admires it more closely. As the image of her visage scatters, she begins looking around, panicked and desperate to preserve the work. "What are you doing, you foal!?" Using her magic, she roughly pushes Scraggly to the ground, holding his good wing in place to try and prevent him from ruining the sculpture, knowing full and well that the piece is already destroyed beyond a quick repair.

Turning back to the image, she sees that the cloud is all but scattered. She shoots an evil glare at Scraggly, but upon looking on his pleading and pitiful form she shakes her head, sighs, and releases him. She turns back to Masterweaver and bows her head slightly, "It WAS beautiful. Thank you for the time and effort."

Diamond Charm deadpans as she goes to help Scraggly to his hooves, "Are you alright?"

As Scraggly was pushed to the ground, he yelped in pain. "I-I-I..." He could only stutter, frightened as she held his good wing in place. "P-Please, not my good wing!" He pleaded. He wanted to clean himself someday, and show off his wings one last time. Luckily, she let go before she did any damage. She shot him an evil glare, which made him shudder. That angry, evil look. It was like the look ponies gave him all the time-but far angrier, and more menacing. He let out a few more terrified whimpers before she helped him up. She asked if he was okay, but he only responded in scared whimpers as usual.

[Diamond Charm]

Diamond's eyes widen at his response, or lack thereof. She looks him over for injuries and examines his good wing. Knowing she's no doctor she can't tell for sure, but not seeing any obvious injuries, she conjures a plan to escape her self-made trap. "Oh, Celestia, he's hurt! Deep breaths, Dee, Deep breaths!" She mutters, as she makes visually obvious motions to calm down. Still visibly frustrated, she returns her attentions to Scraggly, this time with more concern, "That goes for you too. Please DON'T forget to breathe. Are you alright? If you're hurt you need to tell me so I can get help. If you can't respond, I'm only going to leave you for a moment while I get somepony who can help."

She doesn't wait for a response, and instead moves into the crowd, stopping only briefly to thank Masterweaver once more. She calls out to the crowd, "Is there a doctor? This poor pony needs a doctor!" She quickly is absorbed into the crowd and puts significant space between her and Scraggly.

"W-Wait, I-" Scraggly tried to stutter out, but it was too late. Diamond Charm had distance herself from him, and he was guessing she never was coming back. "Oh..." He muttered. He huddled into a corner, leaving a clod of dust around him as he whimpered quietly. "I need to get out of here..."

[Sleepy Mix]

His vision turned black and all sound disappeared, though it only took a few seconds. A flash of light occurred and he was back at the party but everything seemed different. “What happened?” Sleepy Mix asked the 2 ponies in front of him. It was as if they didn't hear him or just ignored him.

He looked around noticing many things he hadn't noticed before. The cake was swimming around in the punch sometimes crawling out just to dive back in it. At the other end of the room was a pinata dancing with the other ponies dropping candy every step it did. A white stallion with a charred coat stood on top of a table, his color wasn't the weird thing though, he had 17 different cutie marks. And when he thought it couldn't get any crazier a little toothless aligator bounced by on a balloon with Pinkie Pie bouncing right behind him. “What is going on here?!” he shouted.

“What's wrong?” Skyblaze gave a confused look at him. “Don't you see what's going on? The cake is swimming in the punch, a pinata is dancing around and an aligator just bounced by.” Skyblaze just stared at him as if it were all normal. “Are you feeling alright?” she asked putting a hoof to his forehead. “Well I do have a slight headache.” he admitted. “You know what you need? You need some pie!” She began dragging him towards the table where the pie lay.

“Why would I need pie?” She didn't answer and instead took the knife next to the pie, she lunged at him with it. He dodged it but his left cheek still got grazed, he crashed into the table causing the pie to cover his face. “WHAT THE HAY ARE YOU DOING?!” Sleepy Mix yelled, he was hyperventilating from fear and adrenaline. “Just stand still so I can cut a piece of pie for you.” Skyblaze just smiled before lunging at him again. Sleepy Mix screamed in fear but before the knife reached him he heard somepony shout above his own scream. “DO NOT EAT THE PIE!” Sleepy Mix opened his eyes, the source of the shout came from that weird stallion with the 17 cutie marks. He yawned, “I guess that was real after all.” Then he noticed Skyblaze and Smoky looking at him. Fear washed over him when he saw the sky blue pegasus.

[Skyblaze]

Skyblaze gives SleepyMix a very confused look, ears down and one foreleg raised. "Wow... are you ok?"

[Sleepy Mix]

"I'm fine." Sleepy Mix said with a noticible fear in his voice. He faked a smile as good as he could (which wasn't very good) "I gotta get out of here" he thought to himself. "Oh look... a... a..." he looked around frantically until he saw a plate of rainbow coloured cupcakes, his eyes widened and a real smile crept on his face. "Oh look, cupcakes!" He dashed of to the plate of cupcakes. "What taste would these have?"

[Masterweaver]

Masterweaver just moved next to Scraggly and helped him up. He didn't say anything at all.

Marbles decided to mingle. Somehow. He hadn't read up on protocol for this particular kind of party, so he just walked up to a random unicorn and gave her a nod. "Hello.... how are you?"

[Diamond Charm]

Diamond meanders the party in a huff. She KNEW the poor pony hadn't meant any harm, and she KNEW there just has to be a reasonable explanation for why that homeless pony was in such bad shape - had she even caught his name? She hadn't really thought to ask, or wait to hear it. She did know that the fellow definitely needed medical attention - even if she hadn't broken it, his bum wing needed to be looked at, so she half-heartedly calls out for a doctor once or twice more.

"I'm NOT going to be able to enjoy this party anymore unless I finish this ordeal." She starts impassively pushing past patrons to get back to where she had left him. As she breaks the crowd barrier, she lays eyes on him. Embarrassment flushes through her system as she watches Masterweaver help him to his hooves - had he just simply collapsed again after she left? It was certainly not in good taste to leave somepony in his condition alone. She wondered how many social etiquette rules she had broken in the past 10 minutes as she slowly made her way back to the pair.

[Sleepy Mix]

He was about to take a bite when he felt a pang of guilt. "Maybe I overreacted a bit. It was just a dream after all." He thought to himself looking back at the two confused ponies he had just left alone. "Besides she would never do such a thing, though it did look real." More doubts began clouding his thoughts.

"What if she does want to kill me after my running away. Nah that's just crazy, it was all a crazy dream. Maybe I should apologize, it would lower the chances that she'd kill me, especially if I take the plate of cupcakes with me." He lifted the plate of cupcakes and trotted back to Smoky and Skyblaze, the plate hovering slightly above his head. "Besides, I could use the plate to protect myself anyway."

[Moonshade]

Moonshade stopped right in front of the unconventional place. It was the place the invitation indicated. He double checked and put it back into his pocket. It was also the place his new acquired friend from Manehattan said they would meet. He hoped that everything will go well. So he opened the door and a few streamers flew into his mane. He quickly pulled them out and walked inside, although a bit stiff. He looked around searching for Diamond Charm, but he was actually hoping she would see him as he couldn't clearly spot everypony in the small crowds everywhere.

[Diamond Charm]

Diamond sees a familiar face enter the bakery. Looking back at Scraggly and Masterweaver to see if they're paying attention. Determininges that she has not yet been seen, and she quickly makes a change in course. Trotting over to the door, she greets her new friend, "Why, hello, dear! I trust your day is going well! Welcome to the Sugar... Sugar... What is this place called again?"

She laughs confidently at her own mistake and extends a hoof to shake Moonshade's.

Scraggly looked back at Diamond Charm, sighing. He knew she wouldn't come back, but was hoping she would have. He needed somebody to help him out; he was freaking out in this place. So many people...He made scared mumbles and stepped back into a corner.

[Klondike Starflier]

What would it hurt for me to mingle with the other ponies? After all, the coffee shop only generated so much customers. Perhaps now that he was staying in ponyville, he should at least become a little more familiar with the locals. But really, going to a party? Not his scene. Oh well, he was there, and he may as well try to enjoy himself here.

Unfortunately for him, the crowd of ponies made him feel incredibly out of place. The tightly knit social fabric seemed un-manipulative, and he felt like he was drowning in the sea of chatter. Swimming for his dear life, he found himself at the edge of the room, clinging to the walls for stability. Taking some deep breaths, he was once again about to submerge himself into the chaos, when he saw a familiar face. Approaching Scraggly, he was thankful that perhaps he would find a way to weave into that fabric.

[Moonshade]

Moonshade shakes Diamond Charms hoof back, wondering why they would that. He then just tried to act casual although he really was rather stiff, it wasn't the first time he went to a party so that was rather odd. He then opened his mouth to ask if Diamond would want something to drink, a punch maybe?

[Diamond Charm]

Diamond Charm laughs nervously and says quietly, "I wouldn't recommend it... Are you alright, Moonshade?"

Nonetheless, while he responds she guides him over to the table with the snacks and looks at the cake dissolving in the punch. "Did you still want your punch?" She takes her pie plate again, amazed that nopony took the untouched pie, and casually takes a bite.

[Masterweaver]

"I SAID NOT TO EAT THE PIE!!!"

Marbles dives for Diamond, dramatically throwing her to the ground and incidentally throwing the muffins into the popcorn with the impact. "YOU'VE DOOMED US ALL! EVERYPONY TO THE SHEEEELTEEEEEERS!!!!!!"

Masterweaver flinches, moving between scraggly and Marbles. "What exactly is happening...?"

"Don't you know? THEY are coming! I was going to use the pie to appease them but now, it has been DEFILED!" Marble stands. his frazzled tail agitatedly swishing. "QUICKLY! Before it's too late! Clear out before they get here!"

[Moonshade]

Moonshade watches somepony throwing Diamond to the ground, yelling something at the same time. He gasped and helped Diamond Charm back up without magic this time and asks: "Are you alright?", she seemed to be alright. So he turned around and with a mildly annoying undertone he asks Marbles what this is all about and what he means with 'THEY'.
