Pony toy drought?

Postby Ayame_ExGoddess » Wed Jul 18, 2012 4:47 pm

So, I was wondering if this is just in my neck of the woods or not but I've been frequenting Toys R Us, Target, and a few other stores for the past two months hoping to find an early release Trixie, and instead I am constantly finding the sections completely empty. Usually they have one or two pink Celestias, the train and those oversized talking Sweetie Belles, or the blind bags and nothing else. What the hell? Is it just here? Have I missed something?

I would entertain the notion that they are just usually sold out, but I've worked in retail long enough to know when something isn't being restocked.

I can't find Blind Bags at ANY of the CVSs that they're usually easy to find at.
I need my pony fix ;.;

I've noticed it, too, in numerous stores around here. In fact, I went into a Target near me the other day, and they didn't even have an MLP section anymore. It was just gone, and I went up and down those pink aisles several times. Littlest Pet Shop was right there, but then it went straight into some other non-Hasbro line. I've started seeing blind bags in a lot of places, though, which was surprising, since I never used to see them even when they seemed to be everywhere else in the country, but there are rarely ever more than seven or eight of the brushables on the shelves.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I can find the blind bags okay, but most of the other things are hard to find. Though I usually look at Walmart, sometimes Target or Toys R Us.
