Green Week LogoI love the smell of green dye in the morning.

Hope you like the colour green, and having lots of it all over your face because it's time for Green Week all over again!
The event will start on the 13th Of July from dawn and end on the dusk of the 19th of July.

What is Green Week?
This glorious event is a week long mayhem where participating ponies load up their water pistols and spray each other with generous amounts of green dye! Yup, that's it. Sounds like fun right? Of course it does.

How do I win?
Slow down there! Points are scored in this event not by spraying the most ponies, but by being sprayed by the most ponies.

But I don't like green dye!
That's not really a question but if you don't wish to participate in Green Week that's okay! Anypony is free to stay out of the madness. Only ponies seen carrying water pistols or wearing a green bandana will be considered participating and anypony else in the same boat is free to open fire!

  1. The event is optional. Even in character. Ask someone if they're participating before trying to squirt them with green dye.
  2. Use whispers towards your target to roll dice. For this event we will be using 2 six sided dice, so your command should be !2d6. Wait for your target to roll dice as well in an attempt to dodge.
  3. You must try to dodge. No sitting down and taking it just to get points. That wouldn't be any fun!
  4. Each time you are hit with a permanent mark, you gain 1 point. Keep track of your own points carefully! We are using the honor system! Record where, when and who. (Which room in the chat, the time and date according to the chat, and who marked you. You can easily keep track of your points via your profile.)
  5. No shooting your own characters with your own characters! You cannot give yourself points!
  6. Your water pistol will be loaded with ONLY 3 permanant marks per day, per player. They do not carry over. So if you don't use it all up that day, the day after you will only have three available. You can temporarily dye other ponies with it all day long, but only 3 points can be given out on a successful hit! Your permanant marks are PER PLAYER not per character. (Per day is determined by server time, not by your local time)
  7. Modifiers: If you think that a situation should allow for a modifier, add or subtract to your roll appropriately and explain why. E.g. I caught so-and-so off guard, so my hit has +2. I was flying high, so my dodge was +2. Whatever. Just make sure to log modifiers and explain why they are used, and that modifiers are agreed to between you and the other player involved.
  8. Remember. You can only give points. Don't beg other ponies to give you points. Let them pick their targets! Only record a point if the player actually intended to give you a point.
  9. Keep it friendly.
  10. Have fun!

Steps by steps guide:

  1. Find a victim target. Preferably someone already posting actively in character.
  2. Whisper victim target if it is ok to squirt them.
  3. Whisper your dice roll (!2d6) to your target, discuss modifiers first if you wish.
  4. Wait for their defense rolling, also !2d6 in whisper
  5. Whoever rolled higher wins. Attacker wins tie. Each player can only successfully hit (point) three times a day to three differnet ponies! So you only have 7days x 3 points = 21 points to give.
  6. Record where, when and who and getting a point in your profile or just somewhere you wont lose the records.
  7. Have FUN!

Details on green dye marks:
